More of our members are now into retirement
and a verbal poll suggested that a regular morning get together might be
appreciated. In this way the Retirement Group was born and now meets at
10.30am on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. We are a social
rather than a Prayer/Bible study group though meetings are all concluded
with a short reading and prayer time. With that proviso the programme
includes a speaker for the second Tuesday while the fourth Tuesday is
entirely social. Occasional lunches to follow meetings are planned, with the
first of these on Tuesday April 8th. Since our beginnings shortly
before Christmas we have now settled down to a regular attendance of between
8 and 12.
